Introduction
The
human being as a total being, as a biological species submitted to the rules of
physics, chemistry and evolution by natural selection, is facing an existential
challenge, its extinction as a dominant species on planet Earth. The
foundations of his survival on the planet are shaken irreversibly; the
deterioration of the atmosphere, with global warming; the hydrosphere, with
extreme acidification of the oceans; the lithosphere, with the wild
exploitation of sedimentary layers for the extraction of hydrocarbons; and the
whole of this, called the biosphere or Gaia, where the miraculous process of
biological evolution of species develops, from nano-living beings such as viruses,
to the largest mammals such as otters, whales and bats, or the human animal, is
also and are victims of the voracity of man.
Only
that natural process was also shaken, undermined, misrepresented by the most
influential group of the human species; through continuous improvements in
public health, such as improvements in basic sanitation, clean water, food and
antibiotics and vaccines, the human being as a population gained
self-isolation, an iron casing from the nature from which it originated, only
that at the cost of declaring war against original nature, and the human
peoples who maintain the connection with this natural world in tropical
forests, such as the Amazon, the massacre of indigenous and peasants around the
world are another dimension of this global pandemic war.
The
construction of this iron, glass and plastic casing, based on technologies that
destroy nature, cut, suspended, the process of human biological evolution,
replacing it with a technosocioeconomic-cultural evolution, governed by rules
created by humans through tribal power disputes. , massacres, wars and
predation of human nature and natural nature, which almost never took into
account the rules of the physical, chemical, biological and ecological nature
of the planet, this being the basis of the dispute between science and
technology, where technology, engineering , seeks to cheat, “arm against”,
nature in order to use it.
So
this has a limit that has already been reached, and the limits of human
manipulation of nature were crossed, when a group of viruses jumped from
animals to humans as a result of the destruction of the evolutionary mechanisms
that separated these viruses from the human population; tropical forests are
complexes entangled in ecological relationships that preserve the evolutionary
trajectories of the species that for millions structure these life networks,
all in search of a single thing; reproduce; and fires, deforestation, mining,
agriculture and predatory livestock, which generate the mass extinction of
species, their migration to humanized environments, directed the force,
pressure or selective flow so that the simplest of living beings, in their
search for survival to leave the darkness of a tropical forest in the face of a
bat, to be passed on to a wild or domestic animal consumed by humans, in their
depredating rationality, outside the age-old limits of food, breaking the
barrier between species and placing the human species in its greatest
evolutionary proof.
This
book, Control
Prevention and Monitoring of the Coronavirus outbreak (SARS-CoV-2) and Covid-19
disease in the municipality of Tabatinga, Amazonas, Brazil,
does not intend to respond to this civilizing crisis of the human species, it
intends with self-awareness of the crisis to direct the scientific knowledge
that is being produced at a glance, to try to help the human population in the
Amazon region locally, to protect themselves from this catastrophe, because
there is a certainty that the technosocioeconomic and cultural rationality that
gave rise to the crisis will not be able to resolve it, as it is unable to see
the crisis as a crisis, it is yet another chance to “get along”; In this way,
all types and strands of religious attitudes that preach the negation of
science are understood, the use of miraculous and chloroquine techniques to
cure their religious and political customers, the shameful political and
economic interest, purchase of vaccines and the culture of “save if you can”
and the “give yourself well” of “fura-fila”, which move Brazilian society to
the abyss, in the broadest sense of the term.
It
is likely that by the time this book is read, Brazil will have already reached
the 500,000 dead mark, meaning that, for the group that runs the country, the
crisis would already be solved, through a genocidal eugenic method, which
solved its most serious problems, the huge obese, elderly, poor, sick and
unemployed population of the country, and the small but uncomfortable
indigenous population, who overburden the social and social protection system,
with payment of aid and pensions to those who, in the criminal view of this
group do not work, and does not contribute to making Brazil “big again”.
So
it is very clear that combating the pandemic is not just a scientific, social,
economic or cultural problem; it is basically a problem derived from an ethical
crisis that proposes an existential dilemma to human beings, or adapts to the
planet or will be extinguished, and this adaptation involves the formulation of
a new ethics in the sense of a small ethics, a label, a small ethics in our
relations with the planet, and with human nature and the natural nature of
which we are a part, whether we like it or not, a “respiratory label would
already be a great advance”.
