 What's up guys! 💥🌱 Have you ever stopped to think about the importance of plants in your everyday life? We here at the Biology, History and Mathematics course have a very cool project to bring this knowledge to you, in Alto Solimões and neighboring towns. And the coolest? There's room for everyone, even if the city has only 60,000 inhabitants. 🏘️ We know that a lot of people didn't have the chance to learn about the power of medicinal, food and even ornamental plants. These little greens could be right there, in your backyard! And we will show them the way. 🌿🔍 Our idea is super interactive: theater, posters, movies and even research for you to participate. 🎭🎥 We want to show how these plants can help improve food, create natural remedies, and even as a source of extra money. Oh! And planting more trees in the streets and squares also makes the city cooler. 🌳💰 All of this using the knowledge we already have from our classes in agroecology, tropical forest ecology, entrepreneurship and environmental education. 🎓🍃 We want to make science closer to you, so that we can value our culture and natural resources, and make everyone's life better. So let's dive into this with us? Science is everywhere, even in your backyard! And we are here to help you find out.
